Has worked in the kitchen industry for 20 years in 2024.

Liam has featured on two prime time TV gameshows in recent years without winning a single penny!

MEET THE TEAM | Ryan
About Ryan:
After being friends with each other for over 15 years watching their local football team Burnley at Turf Moor, Ryan decided to partner up in business with Liam in November 2018 and enter the world of extraction and cooker hoods.
Director of Miro, Ryan, is involved in the day-to-day running of the business, in charge of everything operations.
True fact about Ryan:
Ryan is also a professional football scout for a team he is not allowed to mention in the office.
Fun fact about Ryan:
As well as having a love for Football, Ryan and his wife Emily have a love for animals, including horses, two Frenchies, a Border Collie, two cats and a family run cattery business.

MEET THE TEAM | Jamie
About Jamie:
I’m Jamie, the Miro office manager, and I’ve been here since July 2021, although it seems a lot longer than that (in a good way!). Prior to joining Miro, I worked in insurance claims for 13 years – slightly different to what I’m doing now! I love what I currently do, and no two days are the same. We have a great team here and as we have the best customers, it’s always good speaking to them.
True fact about Jamie:
In a former life, I worked as a holiday entertainer in Cyprus – think Butlins abroad. I did this for 3 summers, safe to say it was some of the best times of my life.

MEET THE TEAM | Phil
About Phil:
Phil has worked as an engineer on appliances for over a decade now, whilst having serviced Miro appliances from the formation of the company in 2018.
True fact about Phil:
Away from work, Phil enjoys sports and the outdoors – regularly getting his walking boots, cycling through the countryside or tending to his pet sheep. We’ll refrain from adding any baaaad jokes here, wont pull the wool over anyone’s eyes, ewe wouldn’t like them.
OK, OK, we’ll stop. Promise.
Fun fact about Phil:
Phil is a good sport when it comes to humour aimed his way from the office, particularly when booking his hotel rooms for overnight service calls. Whether it’s requesting a ‘room with a sea view’ when staying in Milton Keynes or asking a hotel in Scotland for the finest shortbread biscuits, Phil takes the humour in his stride – though rarely brings the shortbreads back to the office with him. This is definitely an area we’re working on with Phil to improve his performance.

About Toby:
Toby joined Miro in December 2023 and is your point of contact in the office for all-things-orders. From placing to packing, Toby has you covered!
True fact about Toby:
Toby is a semi-professional rugby player!
Fun fact about Toby:
If you see Toby without food, you know there’s something wrong. 20 chicken nuggets are an appetiser for Toby. We’re pretty sure his legs are hollow.

MEET THE TEAM | Pete
About Pete:
New to the world of kitchen extraction appliances, Pete joined the Miro team in February 2024 as service support administrator and also manages the social media pages. Pete has since stepped up to Operations Team Leader, overseeing all service support and orders/despatch procedures.
Away from working life, Pete has a young daughter called Amelia who keeps him on his toes!
True fact about Pete:
Historically, Pete has experience in estate agency and in hospitality management, so brings experience in handling a wide variety of customer queries.
Fun fact about Pete:
Pete once captained a Burnley fans team and scored on Turf Moor – and takes every opportunity he can to tell people! He tells us there’s also a video of it on You Tube apparently…

About Morgan:
The newest member of the team, Morgan joined the Miro/FTK team in August 2025 on a part-time basis, before becoming a full-time member of the team in March 2026. Morgan handles both order processing and despatch and service support matters for FTK.
True fact about Morgan:
Believes himself to be a better padel player than Ryan – saying that “it’s not even close”. Fighting talk.
Fun fact about Morgan:
Morgan has a rather random talent – he describes himself as being ‘unreal at lipreading’ – so we cover our mouths when we talk about him in the office…

About Cassie:
I am Liam’s dog and although only ‘work’ part time, I’m very much part of the Miro team.
True fact about Cassie:
If you’re a postman or delivery driver bringing something into Miro HQ, you’ll hear me before you see me. Tickles or snacks are the only way to stop little Miss Guard-dog.
Fun fact about Cassie:
I’m very loyal to Liam and will stick by his side. Unless someone opens the biscuit jar and I’m there… It’s all about the biscuits.
