STEALTH & STEALTH SLIM – Flashing light…

Have you purchased and installed a Miro Stealth or Stealth Slim?

Found that you have a light flashing after use?

Don’t worry!

We’ve had a couple of calls recently from customers a little confused as to why the light on their Stealth cooker hood is flashing. Well, here’s the thing – it’s an intentional feature to assist you with your product maintenance! You may, of course, already be making use of our maintenance guide (linked at the foot of this page) which is great, though the extractor will still indicate the cooking hours you’ve clocked-up.

After approximately 30 hours of cooking time, the light sensor will flash, indicating that your clip-off grease filters behind the door of the unit need removing, washing and drying, before being replaced.

HOWEVER, YOU NEED TO THEN RESET IT!

Once you’ve placed your grease filters back into the unit, you then need to reset the extractors memory – otherwise, it will keep flashing at you!

There’s a button on your unit that looks like a lightbulb (highlighted ‘A’ on the image below); you need to press and hold this for around 4-5 seconds. This will reset the extractors memory, and start the internal cooking hours clock again!

However, if you’re still experiencing an issues with your hood, please do reach out our 5-star service support team:
