THE BIG BURNLEY BREAKOUT 2025 – WE NEED YOUR HELP!
It’s not every day that one of us from Miro Products ends up in prison – we promise!
But on Thursday, 27th March, one of our team members has been summoned to take part in The Big Burnley Breakout, a unique fundraising event organised by Burnley FC in the Community.
Why Are We Doing This?
This is more than just a chance to test our fundraising skills—it’s about making a real difference. Burnley FC in the Community supports local youth, families, and individuals with essential programmes, including health, education, and football initiatives. We’re committed, but we need your help to ensure our colleague doesn’t spend the full 5 hours in that cell!
It’s all for fun, of course—but let’s face it: who wouldn’t enjoy seeing one of us behind bars? However, the true purpose of this challenge is to raise funds for a charity that makes a real impact on hundreds of local lives.
What’s Happening on the Day?
Here’s how it works:
- Mug shots and fingerprints will be taken by Burnley FC in the Community’s own prison guards (don’t worry, they’ll still be recognisable in their prison gear).
- Our colleague will be locked in a prison cell for up to 5 hours. Their fundraising target will determine their release time (the quicker you donate, the faster they get out).
- They’ll be able to plead their case via social media, so expect regular “calls” for help to escape.
- Fun games will be played throughout the event. These games will offer chances to win food and time off their sentence. Plus, there’s a leaderboard—let’s see how fast we can break out!
This event is about teamwork, so if you want to join in and share a cell, you can double the fundraising power. Feel free to get involved!
How Can You Help?
Every penny counts. Your donation helps our colleague escape sooner. More importantly, it supports Burnley FC in the Community’s programmes, which provide vital services to those who need them most. Plus, there may be special “thank you” surprises on social media for everyone who donates!
