MIRO CHRISTMAS!
So, last month you may have seen a few story posts on our social media pages with some Christmassy scenes – so we wanted to let you in on the secret…
The Miro team swapped cooker hoods for cooking spuds (kind of) for the day, changing our roles from 5-star sales and service to questionable and comical acting (we’re using the word acting rather loosely…).
Now, first things first, a few thank-you’s, if we may:
@burnleycollege / @burnleycollegemedia – Thank you to Jonathan, Rose and Harvey for taking the time to spend the majority of the day with us – directing, positioning and filming us. We hope we weren’t too hard work and test your patience too much!
@clearlyinteriors – thank you to the team at Clearly’s for hosting us, allowing us to make use of the kitchen area under the Elysium hood!
@yorkshiretea – a big thank you to Judith in the customer service team at Yorkshire Tea for her assitance is sourcing and supplying us with a branded apron for use in filmig, for our Geordie-by-birth but Yorkie-by-residence, Graeme, to wear. You’ll be seeing your gift proudly on the video!
The video; what to expect –
Well, we’re not quite at blockbuster-level yet (or maybe we’re just being modest there, who knows…), we maybe don’t have the charm of Kevin the Carrot @aldiuk or have the emotional, pull-on-the-heartstrings feel of a @johnlewis Christmas advert – nor is the level of Phil’s acting that of Bruce Willis, but we tried…
What we DO have in this video, we believe is a real reflection of who we are day-to-day, is humour, togetherness and a real sense of just ‘keeping it real’.
A hard-working, dedicated team of people -just doing something a little different to give you a peek in to what we’re really like. A little bit daft but all in good fun, with a real bond and togetherness.
Anyway, the video is set for release on December 11th – though the lead up throughout the first week of December will have us bring you snippets and clips with outtakes and bloopers from the day’s shoot.
We genuinely hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed creating it!
